At New Moston Primary School, enrichment is not an add-on. It is a fundamental part of our approach to education and a core pillar of our curriculum framework.

We believe that children thrive when they are given opportunities to explore the world beyond the classroom, discover new interests, and develop confidence, curiosity, and ambition. Our enrichment offer is designed to ensure that every child, regardless of background, has access to rich and meaningful experiences during their time at New Moston.

What Enrichment Looks Like at New Moston

Our enrichment offer includes a wide range of opportunities, such as:

Educational Visits

Carefully planned visits that enhance learning, broaden horizons, and allow children to experience places and opportunities beyond their local area.

Visitors into School

Visitors who inspire, inform, and educate — including professionals, community members, sports coaches, artists, and role models.

Clubs and Activities

A broad range of clubs and activities that allow children to explore interests, develop talents, and build confidence. This includes our Enrichment Thursdays, where children choose a club to take part in.

Personal Development and Leadership

Opportunities for children to develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and independence through enrichment activities, events, and responsibilities.
